The tour begins early in the morning with a visit to the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Centre, where giant tortoises in different stages of growth can be observed. The tour then continues to Laguna de los Flamingos, walking along trails through mangroves with possible sightings of flamingos. Afterwards, you will walk along the beach at Puerto Villamil, where you may see marine iguanas and zayapa crabs, until you reach the restaurant for lunch. Next, you will sail to Tintoreras for a tour of the site, with possible sightings of penguins, blue-footed boobies and pelicans. On the islet, you will take a walk to observe marine iguanas, tintoreras sharks in the channel and the sea lion beach, ending with snorkelling to observe turtles, sea lions, tropical fish, sea urchins and starfish. The return to Santa Cruz is scheduled for the afternoon, although it is recommended to stay overnight in Isabela to enjoy the experience in a more relaxed manner.
